Costume Corner: Samurai Jack.

Greetings all, and welcome back to another segment of Costume Corner. For this segment we’re focusing on the person whose main goal is to get back to the past to stop an evil demon from destroying the world. Their name is none other than Jack, or more specifically Samurai Jack.

Samurai Jack

Hat-Pilgrim’s Hat (all brown). This represents the straw hat that he’s occasionally seen with.
Robe-Cleric’s Vestment (all white). Jack always wears a white robe so this is self-explanatory.
Boots-Ronin’s Footwraps (brown base, black trim). Jack doesn’t wear any socks with his sandals, and since his sandals have black straps to them this is a fair compromise.
Wand-Death Oni’s Peridot Blade. This was the closest sword I could find that was a close length to Jack’s sword and didn’t have a distracting enough glow to it.
Mount (optional)-Mystic Skiff. For sea travel and themeing mostly.
Pet-None.

The background for those wondering is The Grand Chasm (Past) dungeon in Dragonspyre. Since the shows entire premise is Jack trying to find a way back to the past I figured what better place to show off the costume at than in a place in the past? Dragonspyre’s Grand Chasm dungeon I felt was perfect for this. I made this costume 3 years ago and am posting it here for more people to see.

Here is the Pirate101 version of it:

Samurai Jack (P101 side)Samurai Jack (P101 front)

Hat-Ancestor’s Sun Hat. This represents the straw hat that he’s occasionally seen with.
Robe-Ascetic’s Garb (all white). Jack always wears a white robe so this is self-explanatory.
Boots-Yojimbo’s Footwear (all white). Jack doesn’t wear any socks with his sandals but this was the closest I could get to the actual sandals so this is a fair compromise.
Weapon-Metal Guardian’s Blade. This was the closest sword I could find that was a close length to Jack’s sword.
Mount (optional)-Mystic Skiff. For sea travel and themeing mostly.
Pet-None.

Note that many basic items in both games (Pirate101’s especially) look the same, so aside from the weapons and mounts you don’t need the exact same named item that I listed here. Just use whatever you can get your hands on and go from there.

I hope you enjoyed a look at this costume. If you have any suggestions on what costumes I should do next (such as a certain demonic overlord) let me know and I’ll see what I can do. Catch you next time.
